On pull its same as normal mode, but you are faced toward the middle. Spread 5s before aoe, Savage roar is used every time we spread.

Here are the Cat phase positions. Group 3 is left, 4 right, 5 below – never stand on the carpet to stairs we need that space free of fire.

Notice that the bad zone is the line of the big circle, you need to be 10y behind that. We stack up on 7 leaps, after 6th leap you stand closer to the boss, on the line of big circle, then as soon as he leaps for 7th you run to melee stack.

On seeds, get out of raid as always. 5s before cleave all spread but make sure you dont have anyone near you so you dont take their concentration off when you expolode. If your seed timer shows less than 10s before cleave, move out of raid in advance.

The idea with orbs is to spawn them on one side of the room so they can be tanked by 4 people with immunities (mages + Melia), so that everyone else keeps their concentration full. We do this by tank leaping away after raid stacks and he goes scorp form, then intervening Melia who is near the stairs.

Melia and tank go up the stairs, while everyone else stays middle stacked. When boss goes upstairs, all spread before next cleave hits. A priest grips tank back when he’s on the way back to middle. Melia stays near stairs and tanks the first orb weave. Mages get ready to take their turn.

Tanking orbs is done like this – wait till you get 7-8 stacks, then iceblock/bubble. Next tank in line goes in when your iceblock/bubble is on 3s left, just stand closer to orbs that the person before you. This is because orbs do damage not on tick, but 5s after. You still get stacks while immune.

After orbs despawn, all collapse on boss and next cat phase is tanked on middle like first was. Whole fight repeats now, boss should be around 50%.

The only damage that you take is on leap – you need to avoid it with blink, disengage, portal or any speed buff you can use. By staying far away you buy yourself more time to avoid it also. Rogues, Mages and Palas can avoid the seeds with cloak, iceblock and bubble but you need to save them for orb tanking.

Make sure to check out the guild rules, some are updated for Cata.

I didn’t have a lot of time, this was kinda rushed in 3-4h just to have something up before Cata starts, so probably a lot is not working.
